BBQ on Friday

Since we opened the sale of Homemade BBQ sauce at El TEJANO orders are booming. It's spicy and sweet!!

EL TEJANO was created out of a need for what was lacking here in Buenos Aires. In most cases, when one moves from their native country to a foreign destination, the recreation of familiar foods is the first step; in making yourself at home. Sometimes it’s hard to find that fix for a good Chicken-Fried Steak with mashed-potatoes and gravy or Chicken Enchiladas with Green Sauce with a side of Mexican rice accompanied by black beans. Than again, maybe it’s just a difference between bread on your table or chips and salsa! Whatever the case maybe, its an issue! One way I found to solve the problem was to bring that familiar taste home; searching bar after bar for a small taste of home, I came up empty handed every time. This is where my adventure starts and ends in the search for a good, home-made TEX-MEX salsa!!
